You can select a specific portion of a widget to choose it. This automatically adds a filter to the dashboard’s Filters panel.

• Single selection. Left mouse-click a portion of a widget to automatically add a dashboard filter.

• Multi-selection. Select the Control key. Release the key and the menu displays the Select option, allowing multiple selections.

In chart widgets, you can drag and draw the area to be selected.

After you select a portion of the widget, the expand icon displays in the widget’s menu bar. Click the expand icon to increase your view of the selection.

You can refine your data further by toggling the switches in the left panel.
