# Adding Drag on Rules to Real Time Stage Rules

Drag-on Rules must be enabled for a Parent Segment for you to include them in your journey.

1. Navigate to Audience Studio.
2. Select a Parent Segment from the dropdown.
3. Open a journey.


If the journey is in Draft mode, you can select a drag-on rule for any of the following elements of the journey:

* Entry criteria
* Exit criteria
* Goal
* Decision point


1. Select one of the supported elements to edit.
2. Select the edit icon ![](/assets/editicon.7115c9afa1c79da46ceff8fea58f38366f3573ff6a78af63d408d85b338d95ac.9e7171ae.png) .
3. From the column on the far right drag a Real-time journey stage to the add attributes window.
4. Select whether you want to **include** the profiles from the specified stage of the journey or **exclude** them.
5. From the "select a value" drop down, select the journey stage you want to use.

You can also add draft journeys as drag-on rules.

1. Select **Save**.
