# User Management

Treasure account owners and administrators can manage who has access to the platform and what they can do. A user represents an individual with access to the Treasure Data platform.

## User Types

Treasure Data has three user types: **Owner**, **Administrator**, and **Restricted User**. Each type has different levels of access and capabilities. See [Types of Users in a Treasure Account](/products/control-panel/security/users/types-of-users-in-a-treasure-data-account) for details.
