# Attaching Tags to Columns

After an administrator has created tags, you can attach the tags to columns based on your [database permissions](/products/control-panel/security/tag-management/creating-editing-and-deleting-tags).

1. Open Treasure Console.
2. Navigate to **Data Workbench** > **Databases**.
3. Select the database and table that contains the columns that you want to update.

1. Select **Schema**.
2. Select **Edit Schema** and **Accessibility**.
3. Select the tag (policy or resource) to assign it to the column.
