The PLAUD Note Pro features Smart Dual-Mode, which automatically detects how the device is being used and switches recording modes accordingly:
- Ambient Recording Mode: When the device is placed on a desk or held in hand, it captures surrounding audio from all directions — ideal for face-to-face meetings and group discussions.
- Phone Call Mode: When magnetically attached to the back of a smartphone via the MagSafe-compatible case, the device detects phone vibrations through its built-in vibration sensor and automatically switches to phone call recording mode.
No manual configuration is required. The device seamlessly transitions between modes based on its physical placement.
