# Credit Usage Dashboard

The Credit Usage dashboard shows administrators how their organization is consuming Treasure AI Studio credits — broken down by user and by day — so you can see who is using the AI and how much, and spot unusual activity early.

Usage is measured in credits
Treasure AI Studio meters usage in **credits**, and the dashboard always shows credits. If you track usage in **conversations**, multiply the credit figure by **600** (1 credit = 600 conversations). Studio does not display conversation counts directly.

## Objective

Understand what the Credit Usage dashboard shows, how to read the per-user breakdown, and how to use it together with [Credit Policy](/products/ai-studio/credits/credit-policy) to manage consumption.

## Prerequisites

- Signed in to Treasure AI Studio ([Getting Started](/products/ai-studio/getting-started))
- Account administrator privileges (the dashboard is admin-only)

## Where to Find It

Open **Settings → Credit Usage** (under the **Organization** section). The dashboard is visible only to account administrators.

## What the Dashboard Shows

The dashboard has three parts:

| Element | What It Shows |
| --- | --- |
| **Time window** | A selector for the last **7 days**, **14 days**, or **30 days**. Changing it reloads the data for that period. |
| **Daily credit consumption chart** | A stacked bar chart of credits consumed per day, with each bar split by user. The top users are shown individually and the remainder are grouped as **Others**. Click a day to focus on it, or hover to highlight a user. |
| **Per-user table** | A table listing each user and the **credits** they consumed over the selected window (or for a single day if you select one in the chart), sorted from highest to lowest. Users are shown by email, or by a short identifier if the email isn't available. |

Dates and daily boundaries follow your **account timezone** (configured in [Credit Policy](/products/ai-studio/credits/credit-policy)).

Top 200 users
For accounts with many users, the dashboard shows the **top 200 users** by consumption. If there are more, you'll see a note that some users may not be displayed.

An operational view, not a bill
The dashboard is a fast, near-real-time operational view of consumption to help you monitor usage — it is not your authoritative billing statement. For exact billed amounts, refer to your official Treasure AI billing.

## Common Tasks

- **See who is consuming the most** — open the dashboard and read the per-user table, which is sorted by credits descending.
- **Investigate a spike** — click the tall bar for a day in the chart to break that day down by user.
- **Compare periods** — switch between the 7-, 14-, and 30-day windows.
- **Act on what you find** — set a per-user daily limit in [Credit Policy](/products/ai-studio/credits/credit-policy) if consumption needs to be capped.

## Verification

After reading this guide, you can:

- [ ] Find the Credit Usage dashboard in **Settings → Credit Usage**
- [ ] Read per-user credit consumption and change the time window
- [ ] Drill into a single day from the chart
- [ ] Explain why usage is shown in credits rather than conversations

## Troubleshooting

| Issue | Solution |
| --- | --- |
| "No usage data for the selected period." | No credits were consumed in that window, or usage hasn't been recorded yet. Try a longer window. |
| Some users are missing from the table | The dashboard shows the top 200 users by consumption; accounts with more users will see a truncation note. |
| Dates look off by a few hours | The dashboard uses your account timezone. Confirm the timezone in [Credit Policy](/products/ai-studio/credits/credit-policy). |
